Chuanyi Ji's research is in large-scale networks, machine learning, and data analytics. Chuanyi Ji received the B.S. degree (Honors) from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 1983, the M.S. degree from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia in 1986, and the Ph.D. degree from the California Institute of Technology, Pasadena in 1992, all in Electrical Engineering. She was an Assistant and Associate Professor from 1991 to 2001 with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY. She was a visitor/consultant at Bell Labs Lucent, Murray Hill in 1999, and a Visiting Faculty with Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge in 2000. She is an Associate Professor with Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, which she joined in 2001. Chuanyi Ji's awards include CAREER from NSF and Early CAREER from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
